Finlandia Marathon

- The Marathon of Thousand Lakes!

Welcome to Jyväskylä, Finland, to the 21th Finlandia Marathon on September 11th, 2010.
The 14-kilometre route, which is run three times, follows the beautiful and even shores of
Lake Jyväsjärvi close to the centre of Jyväskylä.

Finlandia Marathon is a marathon festival designed for everybody from a top athelete to an amateur jogger.
Jyväskylä is famous for hosting Neste Rally Finland for several decades. Jyväskylä lies in beautiful
Central Finland, surrounded by several lakes, and has very good flight and train connections.

CANCELLATION PROTECTION FEE
By paying the 5 euro cancellation protection fee when registering for the event you are able to move the registration to next year's event in case of sickness or injury. When doing this, please send a copy of a medical certificate dated on 11 September 2010 or earlier to the address: Keski-Suomen Liikunta / Finlandia Marathon, Rautpohjankatu 10, 40700 JYVÄSKYLÄ, Finland. The move of the registration is personal and can be done only to the following year's event. The participation fee is not refunded in any circumstances. Note: the cancellation protection fee can only be paid in connection with the registration fee and it cannot be purchased later after the occurrence of the injury.

ACCOMMODATION
Finlandia Marathon offers inexpensive accommodation at Sokos Hotel Alexandra and Jyväshovi in the close proximity of the event area. Remember to mention that you are participating the Finlandia Marathon when booking the accommodation. More information about the hotels.

PARTICIPANT MANUAL
The manual in English will be published on 1 September 2010. It will be sent by email to the participants who have selected English as their language when registering for the event.
